Join us for Birch Bay’s Annual Sand Sculpture Competition. The annual Sand Sculpture Competition, sponsored by WECU, will be held on Saturday, August 3.
Building begins at 9 a.m. and judging will be held in the afternoon. Previous years’ sculptures can be viewed on the chamber website for inspiration and include traditional sandcastles, mermaids, and dragons. Judging will also be held across multiple categories accounting for the range of participants from seasoned sculptors to families entering for fun.
In an exciting addition to this year’s festivities, a treasure hunt has been introduced! The Chamber and WECU will hide 1,000 wooden coins throughout the area. When found, these coins can be turned in at the WECU booth at the Beach Park for special prizes.
